Great News, Ryan Speedo Green!
Bass-baritone, Ryan Speedo Green (Prelude 2010/11) sings the role of the King in the Metropolitan Opera's upcoming production of Aida conducted by Nicola Luisotti.
On October 4th, 2018 Ryan sings a concert at Washington National Opera, where he was recently honored as the 2018 Marian Anderson Vocal Award Winner!

Prelude is an intensive training program for young aspiring singers from around the world, culminating into two fully staged opera performances.
Role Class prepares singers with group and individual coaching, working with Martina Arroyo and her staff.
Our alumni are singing at major Opera houses.
Many of our Alumni have gone on to win major voice competitions as well as obtaining performance contracts with both large and small opera companies.
The Martina Arroyo Foundation prepares and counsels young singers in the interpretation of complete operatic roles for public performance.

Mezzo, Hongni Wu who was our Prince Orlovsky in the Prelude 2016 production of Die Fledermaus was one of five winners in the Grand Finals Concert at the Metropolitan Opera in April.

Then, after intermission, in a bold choice, she sang the opening scene of Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier with youthful bloom and richness."
